As an Account Manager at Green Hat, you’ll be the partner our clients rely on, orchestrating integrated programs across strategy, creative, content, digital, and ABM rather than just “taking briefs.” You’ll grow your consulting, commercial, and relationship skills in an environment that values curiosity, collaboration, and measurable outcomes, with clear pathways to more senior account leadership

What will be your responsibilities:

  • Own day-to-day client relationships, becoming a trusted partner who deeply understands their complex B2B markets, priorities, and stakeholders.
  • Lead the delivery of integrated B2B campaigns and programs (including ABM), coordinating strategy, creative, content, digital, and media specialists to deliver on client objectives.
  • Translate client briefs into clear scopes, timelines, and budgets, and manage projects from inception to delivery to ensure work is on time, on brief, and on budget.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to add value for clients, from optimisation recommendations to new initiatives that drive better results and stronger relationships.
  • Track and report on campaign and program performance, drawing insights and recommendations that demonstrate impact and inform future activity.
  • Facilitate effective internal and external meetings and presentations, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and next steps are clear.
  • Support Account Directors to shape proposals and pitches, contributing client insight, strategic thinking, and polished presentation materials.

What skills and experience will you bring:

  • Melbourne based with 3–4 years’ account management or similar client-facing experience in an agency, ideally with exposure to complex B2B environments.
  • Understanding of B2B marketing fundamentals (lead and demand generation, ABM, campaigns, content, and digital), with a genuine interest in helping clients grow.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders at once, balancing detail, deadlines, and quality without losing sight of the bigger picture.
  • Confident client communication skills: you can lead meetings, write clear contact reports and emails, and present ideas and results with poise.
  • Experience working with budgets, scopes, and forecasting, and an eye for value-adding opportunities.
  • Collaborative mindset and the ability to work closely with strategy, creative, content, and digital teams to deliver integrated work.
  • Comfortable using data and reporting tools to interpret performance and turn insights into practical recommendations
