We work with blue-chip brands in a vibrant agency culture. We are expanding our team to provide specialist services for clients across Australia and Asia.

We are seeking a collaborative, motivated and inspiring Art Director who enjoys a challenge of discovering what captivates and engages a B2B audience. Reporting to the Creative Director, you are confident to translate creative, marketing and brand strategies into innovative and engaging campaigns.

Working from our flexible Melbourne based office, You’re a visual creative wizard on the tools with a strong appreciation for design craft. You can inspire a talented team with your initiative across a variety of projects related to brand identity and creative campaigns.

To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate a high level of experience with InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, wire-framing tools, and motion design software. Your portfolio should demonstrate ability across a range of media, including identity, print and motion graphic design.

Art Director Responsibilities:

  • Generate clear ideas and concepts
  • Produce storyboards to visualise ideas
  • Understand B2B marketing initiatives, strategic positioning and target audience
  • Cooperate with the content and creative team across multiple types of media
  • Take work from concept to final execution within budget and deadlines
  • Delegate responsibilities to other designers and provide directions
  • Present completed ideas and rationale to clients/team members and clients
  • Stay on top of all trends and maintain best standard practices

Art Director Requirements

  • Hands on experience with band identity design, typography, colour, web layout design, print production, dynamic and interactive media, image selection and art direction
  • Proficient use of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools
  • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
  • Incorporate feedback and take/give direction well
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to share knowledge
  • Team player with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Relevant education or training

Media Planner/Buyer

Looking to manage a media division in a growth agency?

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Media Planner/buyer who can deliver and implement best in class media recommendations and plans that delight our clients. Someone who is a subject matter expert on key accounts, a hard worker, not afraid to take on a challenge and get their hands dirty when required.

This is an exciting opportunity that allows you to set the tone and drive how media is regarded as part of our service offering, by developing a team and growing existing and new business.

Key responsibilities are:

  1. Own the planning and buying process and take responsibility for delivering best in class media rationale and plans
  2. Have previous digital media experience and a working understanding of the offline media channels
  3. Work with your manager to review publisher brief responses and work on refining and negotiating to get to the optimum solution
  4. Demonstrate your ongoing knowledge of the media channels and use of media tactics
  5. Get all post campaign reporting to review and deliver best in class insights and learnings to clients that demonstrate your ability to deliver against briefed objectives
  6. Navigate the complex, ever changing media landscape and be prepared to articulately explain to clients the “why” behind our recommendations
  7. Build trust quickly so that you are seen as the media advisor on how the recommended media will affect our client’s customer ecosystem
  8. Stay connected with media suppliers, tech vendors amongst others to keep abreast of the latest opportunities for your clients
  9. Take ownership of any media bookings, confirmations, and invoicing detail to deliver accurate commercial management is best in class
  10. Reconcile a completed campaign to ensure all value has been delivered and client KPIs met.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for great people who have similar values to our own.  You will bring the following experience, expertise and values with you…

  1. 2 -3 years experience in a Media Agency
  2. A proven track record of achieving financial outcomes and growth outcomes
  3. A strong empathy for client-side and ideally some experience being a client
  4. Excellent organisational, presentation and problem-solving skills
  5. Sound stakeholder management and relationship building skills
  6. A can-do, positive attitude – be accountable and responsible
  7. A proven track record of achieving successful financial and growth outcomes
  8. A sound awareness of digital, data, content and creative marketing and a passion to learn more
  9. A relevant university degree
